To be honest was very pessimistic about this set up. However I needed a hi fi system to improve my audio layout at home. Since it has arrived I have trailed various genres of music and they all sound fantastic as long as you are playing high quality files such as direct from a CD. As you would expect low quality MP3 files lack clarity when played through this system but all other file types have amazing clarity. Well worth purchasing if you are on a tight budget. The amplifier packs enough power for a fairly large room and I can honestly say as long as you are not an audiophile you will be happy with this package!!!
